I'm Jenn Wong (née McKenzie), 37, and live in the North Shore of Auckland. By day I work in Marketing and in my spare time I love to officiate couples on their big day! I'm a confident, professional public speaker with years of experience through my business profession and my service work for Rotary International. I got married 4 1/2 years ago and know the excitement and stress a wedding can bring!

Being a marriage celebrant and/or emcee is a privilege and I am honoured to be sharing your special day with you.

What makes me different?

I am committed to you! I don't do this as a full-time business (so you're not just a diary date) but as my passion - it's such a special moment to marry a loving couple! I believe love is love, and have the privilege to conduct both marriage ceremonies and civil unions.

I have seen lots of different styles of ceremonies from many cultures and love learning what is important to my couples. I adapt my style to suit you and your partner, whether it be a formal large ceremony/reception, an intimate elopement or something a little more casual.

 

I curate a bespoke ceremony and reception script that is as personal as your love story - no copying and pasting here. I can travel to wherever your ceremony is and do lots of weddings on beautiful Waiheke Island and in Queenstown and Wanāka too.

My easy-going, natural style ensures I can calm any last-minute nerves and I always support my couples through the exciting (and sometimes stressful time) that is wedding planning. I am outgoing, personable and want to ensure your wedding is everything you both dreamed it would be!
